This driver is designed for use in laboratory and test applications. It provides adjustable gate voltages between 5 and 35 V. Gate currents up to 120 A can be switched and gate resistances can be set in 256 steps via a remote controlled relay head. It is equipped with an input for an external Rogowski coil. An overcurrent can be detected by this coil, which leads to the IGBT switch-off. Of course the threshold value is freely adjustable. The use of various other gate resistor heads is possible. For example, adapters for a 4-fold parallel connection are available.
