Safety Measurement Cabin (SMK)

The safety measurement cabin is designed as an accessible, lockable barrier for test setups that are operated with voltages dangerous to touch. A safety control with automatic discharge for DC links is part of the SMK. Unlocking only takes place when it has been reliably determined that no voltage is present. The enclosure is insulated for the most part, reducing the risk of uncontrolled high leakage currents as a result of breakdowns in the test set-up. The SMK is available up to Performance Level e (PLe).

The SMK includes a rack, which contains the safety control as well as adjustable shelves for the measurement equipment. Furthermore, power supplies, capacitors and switchable inductive loads can be integrated.

There are practically no limits for the safety measuring cabin in terms of dimensions and range of functions.
