This driver is the 6-channel version of the single-channel thyristor driver GD18008-T. It is intended to be used for high power energy applications like wind power or high power electrolysis. The driver is permanently short-circuit proof and has 6 driver channels which are galvanically isolated from each other. Various control modes, which either allow independent single-channel operation, paired operation or complete parallel operation, facilitate its integration into existing systems. Optionally available monitoring systems track the conductive state of the gated thyristors.
